to say thank you to all you wonderful people?

Obviously IANBU to say thank you. Perhaps IABU putting it in this topic though. So apologies for any abuse of the AIBU topic, but I wanted to get my thanks seen by as many of you as possible.

Yesterday I had a lovely time meeting some amazing MNers who had organised and co-created - along with many others of you - a beautiful, beautiful blanket for my daughters and me. We all had a lovely day by the sea and the lovely, gorgeous Edgar and I got to see our blankets in the flesh for the first time. Blondes couldn't be there, but I so hope to meet her soon.

Our blanket is just gorgeous...I know we will spend a lot of time looking at each square, wondering who made it, but always knowing it was done with love. I have put a photo of my two DDs cuddled under the blanket on my profile, so you can all see the finished article.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you wonderful MNers. Your generosity and kindness has staggered me. As has all the love and support you have shown me during the last awful few months. Xxx

I wasn't involved, but marvelled from afar at how much work and care went into the blankets - I'm just so glad it's given you so much pleasure. And it's a lovely photo.

Bless you Rindercella. I think of your family from time to time, mostly when I'm having a rant and stamping my feet over trival matters; I tell myself that there are people such as yourself who actually would have just cause to scream 'it's not fair'.
Having read from your story from when Richard was first diagnosed, I am always in awe of your apparent strength and the love that surrounds your family. Your eloquence and dignity shine out of your posts. If I had a sister/friend who had behaved as you have, and shown such love and courage for her husband, his son and your daughters, I would be so proud. From the way you describe Richard, I bet he would be too. xxx

i never knew of this or your situation. its very moving that those who were once strangers will reach out to others and do something so beautiful and thoughtful. its a lovely photo x

Also not involved in the blanket and have never posted to you before but have followed your posts for quite a while and have sent you my prayers and good wishes.

Your daughters look absolutely gorgeous in the blanket. You can all be proud of yourselves and each other for the way you have all come through this terrible time.

I wasn't involved in any blanket making either, but am so glad some lovely women thought of it for you, Edgar and Blondes.

Your DD look gorgeous and cosy with a rather stunning, unique piece of female solidarity keeping them warm.

I didn't get a chance to contribute to your blanket rinders, but did a couple of squares (subbed by the lovely Northernlurker). Glad you like it. It is nice to be able to contribute to worthwhile projects and to think about other people going through crap situations like yours and being grateful for my life as it is.
