To go to the toilet manually?

I have a constipation problem so I tend to stick my fingers up my bum and manually pull poo out sometimes. Obviously I give my hands a good wash afterwards with anti-bacterial gel. I let this slip to DP last night and he said I was disgusting and wierd and he couldn't stop going on about it. I didn't think it was a big deal and no different to pulling bogies out of your nose.

I think a lot of people are behaving quite ridiculously about this issue. Constipation is not revolting and it happens to a lot of people. I normally have no problem as I drink plenty and eat a varied diet but last year my period coincided with the awful news that my bil was terminally ill. My gut went on strike and it was bloody miserable. I didn't need to see a GP. I drank more, ate a lot of grapes and waited it out. Thank goodness I didn't have to read this sort of hysteric 'uck' when I was suffering as it would have made me fee really errrrrr......shit.

Would you have posted about your constipation in really gruesome detail in the AIBU section of Mumsnet though NL?

There are some thing people just don't want to read. We are not all doctors/healthcare professionals.

Anyway, the op's nickname and other things just make me feel this isn't genuine.

No bibbity I wouldn't have. But then there are lots of things I don't post about. That doesn't mean other people should feel that they can't talk about them either.

Do you have post childbirth injuries by any chance? Just that I know and have reAd on here in fact about this problem if you have rectal or vaginal prolapse.
Maybe see your gyne or gp. You're not gross or weird these things happen after having babies Sad

This really made me laugh out loud - is this a joke?
