My Dh is busy going over all the carpets on the stairs and landings (2 storey town house) with a rug doctor while he tells me to watch the tennis! He is not having an affair!!! He is one of lifes good guys and I am very lucky. Anyone want to borrow him :)

What on earth is a rug doctor?

ImperialBlether · 01/07/2011 16:50

Is it the same as a bush doctor?

AgentZigzag · 01/07/2011 16:52

I've just had a look at the rug dr looks quite reasonable, is it any good OP?

kazmus · 01/07/2011 16:52

Sorry, its a fancy carpet cleaning machine! A bush doctor would be very entertaining!

And what does the bush doctor do then imperial?

Need specifics Grin

mumatron · 01/07/2011 16:52

i'll have him for a bit if you don't mind, but only if he brings the rug doctor with him Grin

kazmus · 01/07/2011 16:53

It's amazing, well worth the hiring fee and really easy to use (so he says:))

I can think of a way it could be better.

You could be drinking tea, eating cake, watching tennis AND getting oral sex. Grin

"A bush doctor would be very entertaining!"

Yes but would you be so keen to hire him out to harassed housewives?

kazmus · 01/07/2011 16:59

lauriefc I never wa much good at multi tasking! But 3 out of 4 's not bad!!

You're not lucky! Your DH is doing his bit. I know this is light hearted...but I can't see man posting similar...

"My wife is currently washing the dishes while I watch the tennis. She's not having an affair! She's one of life's good girls! Aren't I lucky!?"

kazmus · 01/07/2011 17:14

he's 62 and not from the new age! So sorry, I am lucky!!

My DH is a bit older too (52) I am also treated very nicely...

Lots of perks Wink

But he is the one that enjoys watching and playing tennis!

kreecherlivesupstairs · 01/07/2011 17:30

I think I am HR Queen of Antwerp if DH swishes his whiskers out of the bathroom sink.

PenguinArmy · 01/07/2011 17:34

to be fair my DH does the majority of the house work so he make similar comments when I do things

worraliberty · 01/07/2011 17:42

The Rug Doc is excellent...we hire it every few months.

It's never entered my head to start a thread and tell you all when my DH cleans our carpets, but there we are?! Confused Grin
