to think the biscuit is even ruder than "parp"?

I am quite rude, generally, but the biscuit makes me flinch. Do we really have to have an emoticon that says "you're not worth replying to, you idiot" - can't we just use words?

I've never used it. If someone really winds me up enough for me to post, I would rather rant than leave a humble biscuit - maybe I'm missing the point?
