Baiscally my uncle lives nearby, has bad angina, was out in the local pub tonight against doctors orders and then texted me to say he feels very poorly.

I have money for a cab, but no phone credit/ landline and don't want to trouble 999, but will not sleep until I can check on him.

Yeah, managed to get through to orange customer services who applied a 'reserve fund' to my account. So rang his landline, got his next door neighbour, who was very cross but clearly looking after him.

She's promised me she'll call if he needs me.

Got myself into a mega panic about it, bad memories of my great uncle who died horribly at home alone :(

Still won't be able to get to sleep though. argh.
