!lovely nurse ordered it especially for me yesterday. On sheet it only veg option. It came folded over. I ate some then noticed inside its full of meat! Lucky i am not veg for religious or health reasons!

Was it wafer thin ham? I thought that was ok for veggies? :p

EXACTLY the same thing happened to me in a Tesco's cafe once. I ordered a vege breakfast which came with an omelette and when it came I had had a couple of mouthfuls of it before I realised it had ham in it.

I kicked right off at the woman who had served me, which got me pretty much nowhere, and then I wrote a strong letter of complaint to the Head Office, which from memory rewarded me with a £10 voucher. I was outraged by it but I guess if you are not a vege yourself you cannot really see why it is that much of a problem. It was the first time I had eaten meat in over 20 years and I was not a happy bunny.

lol parsnip! Yes think a mistake but a crap one. Ah well no harm done to me but will write a wee letter as maybe need to tighten up policy or something
