I feel like giving up and just not going to this wedding tomorrow. Nothing's going right, the haidresser has just turned my 'classy' highlights into streetwalker streaks, I only went in to get my roots done! She talked me into getting a whole lot of other colours. Why didn't I say no. I have a 4 year old who wants to dress up as batman all day and my dress that I had bought feels a bit meh now :(

Could you put your hair up so streaks are less obvious? Or wear a hat or fascinator? I'm sure your dress is fabulous. If in doubt accessorize it. Brooch, big necklace, pashmina.

Go to bed early tonight.

Go to the wedding. Drink copious amounts of wine. If you still feel awful just say you've got a headache, thanks for a lovely day, wish the couple well and disappear.

I got my highlighhts done just before my own wedding and the hairdresser gave me tiger stripes.
