To ask if anyone shaves/waxes/nair's their arms?

I am dark skinned, dark haired and have quite hairy arms but they hairs are dark brown!!! I got quite self concious seeing as it's summer and i'm wearing short sleeved tops so I decided to put nair hair removal cream on them and I keep doing this every few days when the regrowth appears. Does anyone else do this or am I the only loon?

I epilate mine - not as painful as it sounds and they deffo come back more sparse

I shave mine sometimes, they're not very hairy but it looks nice I think.

Not a chance. And I'm quite ruthless with other areas when it comes to hair! Mine tends to lighten in the summer anyway so it's not too much bother.

I shave my arms. I don't need to do it very often but it looks much better.

I waxed mine recently, think thick dark brown hairy arms! Next door's kids always said I had arms like a man!

They were lovely for about 3 weeks and I didn't feel embarrassed at all, don't know why I didn't do it sooner, do it regularly now!

wax. i get the cheapy wilko's large wax strips. red for a little while but definitely worth it :) i've got light olive skin and dark hair and eyes so they do show if i don't do it.

Nope. Life's too short to wax arms. I find the hairs bleach in the sun anyway.

Some do bleach in the sun, but not if you have very dark hair though. i used to work with a girl that had a lot of dark hair (even on her fingers) and she bleached her arms. it actually looked odd against her dark-ish skin. she discovered wax and was much happier

I have hairy fingers too. And hairy toes.

I guess I just don't care enough. I probably need to be dipped in Veet from the eyebrows downwards.

not my arms as my friend did and I got stubble rash on mine from sitting next to her in the car but I do do hands and feet, wish I could do tummy as seem to be really hairy (27weeks pregnant) and really aware of it as everyone keeps asking to see bump - apparently through a top is not good enough!

I use veet and occasionally wax. I am pale skinned but with dark brown hair. I just feel more comfortable with it gone.

Candr I got a hairy tummy when I was pregnant, it'll go once you've had the baby. And no don't shave my arms. Can't be arsed to do my legs half the time sonot gonna add to my workload

No. Underarm hair removal is useful for hygiene but no need for arm hair removal.

I nair them when I can be bothered every few weeks. I'm very pale with dark hair and I've always been conscious of them.

My arms are hairy but fair hair, can't be bothered to get rid. I quite like them hairy, they are muscly too.

I shave, pale skin + dark hair is a bitch.

I epilate mine. The hair is really long and gorillaish otherwise.

I had 2 sessions of laser hair removal on my arms 4 years ago & now the hairs are sparse and lighter - would thoroughly recommend it.

I veet them from time to time. In DH's country it's the norm, so I do it before I go there too.
