I need to heat up a room temperature cottage pie for DH who will be home in half an hour or so. I have never reheated anything before in my life! What gas should I put it on and where in the oven - it's not fan assisted.

Many thanks

Microwave it for a few minutes as soon as you see his car. Sod the oven, it'll take too long!

180 degrees for around 30-35 minutes just make sure the pie is hot all the way through

Thanks ladies. I think I'll whack it in the oven. Just cos it's in a tin and if I put in in a microwavable dish I'll have another dish to wash
