for wanting to lamp this woman one?

I recently sold some boys shorts on ebay, 3 pairs which went for just over £8.
They were in excellent condition, nothing at all wrong with them.

I had an email from the buyer today stating "that while the goods are as described I do not feel that they are worth the £8.00 that I paid for them. I feel that they are worth about £5 for the 3 pairs. I would appreciate if you refund me the difference and I will not take it any further. I await your co-operation"

Erm.

call her bluff and tell her to return them for a full refund if not 100 per cent happy

Tell her if she is not happy to return them at her own expense and you will issue a refund for item cost only.

However, if you are a business seller and sold items on a BIN listing, she is entitled to a full refund of what she initially paid.

Errrr no, she admits that they are as described so she has no come back at all. What did she think she was getting if the goods are as described? Tell her to get stuffed, you abided by Ebay's rules and an auction often ends up with stuff selling for more than their worth. Make sure you keep all emails safe in case she starts a dispute, but don't worry about it as you are in the right.

I couldnt care less about feedback LOL- I'm only in it to sell my unwanted stuff- I'm on over 3000 feedback and at 100% fb

Could see the feedback though- " I bid too much and seller refused to refund me"

If they were honestly described, then £8 for three pairs of Next shorts is not at all BU. Message her back and call her bluff. Tell her to sod off, refund or post bad feedback. Come on - if you've sold several pieces with good feedback, then people will see through it. Anybody worth anything can see through vendetta-type feedback on eBay.

If they were as described but not worth £8 then why did she bid £8 based on the description of them?
Keep the email as evidence in case she opens a PayPal dispute as she has admitted they are as described.

OP if you go on eBay Community>discussion boards>seller central they will give you a link to report her for attempted feedback extortion Grin
