to expect websites to have valid email contact addresses and phone numbers

This really winds me up. Just sent an email to a reputable busy shopping site and got an automatic reply to say that address is now invalid and to go else where and resubmit the information using a contact page on the website (which doesnt allow you to input all the relevent information).

I got the email address off the site. It said "customer services - contact us" and linked to an email account.

Why cant people just sort out basics. So annoying.

Well, normally I'd say that it means the site is a con, but if you are sure it is a reputable site, then someone just cocked up. It's easy done. If you contact them through the contact form and let them know, I'm sure they'll sort it out.
