Birthday breakfast and bj?! Then get something during day? What's the budget?

SuePurblybilt · 21/06/2011 21:12

Cook him breakfast, say the present is coming at dinner time and go shopping. Have the children done anything for him (if you have them obv)?

Failing that, shag him silly.

iwastooearlytobeayummymummy · 21/06/2011 21:12

get on line quick and book tickets for something?

FreudianSlipper · 21/06/2011 21:12

go on lastminute.com and get him one of those experience days or tickets to a gig that he might like there are lots of ideas on there and print it off and give to him in the morning :o

SuePurblybilt · 21/06/2011 21:12

Corriefan and I are of one mind, evidently. It is a genius suggestion, do it Grin.

amIbeingdaft · 21/06/2011 21:13

I really, really can't make sense of your post. What? Present in the cupboard? What?

Who's we? How can you go wrong with breakfast innbed, sex and a (delayed) present? We've found the perfect formula!

aibunopresent · 21/06/2011 21:23

He's spent £150 on me,mine was £40,now I will have to give him a bj for a starter then sex and then breakfast in bed and steak for tea lol(grin).

Op found a present for her, but her birthday is not for a dew days whereas his is tomorrow- her dp is obviously a lot more organised so she feels guilty!

aibunopresent · 21/06/2011 21:24

The present is a digital camera and he has hid it in the cupbaord.

So you have bought him a present, but not as expensive as the one he's bought you? Does it matter?

Marshy · 21/06/2011 21:25

corriefan and SuePurblybilt - my DH would think it was his birthday and Christmas if I offered him that Grin

aibunopresent · 21/06/2011 21:26

amIbeingdaft · 21/06/2011 21:28

So what was £40 and what was £150?

Marshy · 21/06/2011 21:29

Just thinking of his happy little face now.............maybe I will!

corriefan · 21/06/2011 21:31

Hee hee! Do it! Let us know!

emmanumber3 · 21/06/2011 21:32

£40 was the OP's budget for her DP's present. The £150 is what her DP has spent on her digital camera.

FakePlasticTrees · 21/06/2011 21:32

so you agreed no presents, but he's got one for your birthday anyway, or at least you think he has, he could have bought it as a gift for himself!

go with the BJ, followed with a little pressie in the evening delivered with "I know we said no gifts, but I just thought you could do with...." (stick to your budget) or say "I know we said no gifts, but can I take you out for lunch?"

Have you got a card for him at least? (If not, get off MN and go make one!)
