Going out tonight and loads to do, wanted to fit in a home facial but stuck for time would it be too mad to drop dd at pre-school wearing a facemask - I'll be quick and can park right outside.

Yes...too mad and also unecassary.

worraliberty · 21/06/2011 11:34

You'll embarrass the poor little thing.

kyacat · 21/06/2011 11:37

If I saw one of the other mums wearing a facemask on the play group run, I would think it very odd Hmm

Pagwatch · 21/06/2011 11:38

Unreasonable and awful.

A face mask the day you are going out is not a good idea anyway.

IDrinkFromTheirSkulls · 21/06/2011 11:41

You know if you do you'll end up having to speak to the teacher or getting stopped by the police or run out of petrol or something along those lines just so as many people as possible end up seeing you in your facemask...

...well that's what would happen to me anyway. Sods law and all that, like the day you don't change your knickers will be the day you get hit by a bus.

Utterly bonkers you'll forever be known as 'mad face mask lady' by the other mums! Why can't you put it on while DC is at preschool or when s/he gets back?

mummyofonegirl · 21/06/2011 12:14

LOL ^^

you may receive a few eye rolls if you did and to be honest I saw you running in and out with your face mask i would definately roll my eyes. it kind of gives the impression that you dropping your child is a means of getting on with your social life/your looks.

sorry OP but I think YABU

NoCarbsBeforeMarbs · 21/06/2011 12:17

Yep, bonkers!
It's bound to be the one day there are no parking spaces too Grin

I sometimes go with wet hair (DS starts at 8am and my hair is v long and takes ages to dry) and think that's far enough, if not too far!

Agree with Pag also, facemask on the day you're going out will only leave you spotty/blotchy.

Don't do it!
