I read posters talk about Socialism and wonder how people would like to see it operate in the UK today?

Is it desirable or achievable?

"The problem with socialism is that sooner or later, they run out of other peoples money to spend - W.Churchill"

Try reading about Churchill's tenure as chancellor and see what a monstrous fuck up he made of that, and the aftermath of his last budget; he also suggested striking miners be machine gunned down so I'm not sure he's the best judge of the benefits and drawbacks of socialism tbh. I'm glad he was our PM during the war, and we have a lot to thank him for but his contribution to any debate on socialism isn't that helpful imo.

It works very well in Sweden, and in the UK;

Look at the level of support for the NHS - by the people, for the people.

Smash- surely you dont think that tax revenue is the only contribution Scotland makes to the British GDP?
