To put DD's friend behind the freezer and cover her in plastic bags?

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 16:56

They're playing hide and seek. I somehow agreed to DD having 5 friends in and now I'm rather wishing I hadn't.
I hid the friend, and I hid another one under my desk.

Now I've stupidly suggested they get the duvets/sleeping bags and slide down the stairs.

I also gave them sweets and lemonade.

Parents love meGrin

I loathe myselfSad

I wouldn't cover her in plastic baps, to be honest. You might regret that.
Why not pop her in the freezer, covered in choc, disguised as a magnum?

whattodoo · 17/06/2011 16:59

baps? bags.

feckwit · 17/06/2011 17:00

whattodoo plastic baps? Are you insinuating nettosuperstar has been surgically enhanced?!

Payne1234 · 17/06/2011 17:01

I thought from reading the title that you had murdered someone Confused

PregolaLola · 17/06/2011 17:03

feckwit you truly are just that for beeting me to it ! grrrrrr

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 17:04

Not murdered anyone yet, but give it time.
I don't like 9yr old girls much.

I think my stairs are about to break.Hmm

No surgical enhancement here. I'd be wanting my money back since I only have 34b'sGrin

sorry about the baps thing. trying to impress myself with my speedy typing. accuracy was the compromise I made.
Is it any use to console yourself that at least they'll sleep well tonight? that's what I hope everytime my DD has one of her more 'active' days.

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 17:20

It's not DD or any of them individually, it's 6 of them togetherShock

Oh I loved sliding down the stairs in a duvet! Can I come round Netto? I'll bring spaceships and irn bru to keep the hyper levels up Grin

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 17:44

Yes, please do!

You won't mind if I then pop out for ever 5 minutes will you?

I've just found a long forgotten bag of Haribo in the back of the cupboard, and given it to them.
Someone stop me, please.

PinkSchmoo · 17/06/2011 17:46

Can I send the kids round?

You sound insane but brill, plastic baps and all.

perfumedlife · 17/06/2011 17:53

Course not! You could slope off to the nearest pub park and I could relive my youth whilst wrecking your house Grin Everyone's a winner.

Phew, when I saw the thread title, I thought it said 'Put DD's Friend IN Plastic Bags Behind The Freezer'

Surely, you meant actually in the freezer, no? Grin

How are you holding up? Opened the gin yet?

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 18:02

I've just said that three of them can stay over tomorrow night.
I'm not even drunk.
What's wrong with me?

I taught them all how to grab the duvet at the top corners, and then launch onto it whilst jumping off the top step.

Parents don't mind their kids coming home a bit broken right?

OP posts:
Mouseface · 17/06/2011 18:05

Grin Right.

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 18:07

Perfumedlife, I'm being -evicted moving next month, so feel free to trash the house.
S'not mine anywayGrin

Fuck, I think zombie elephants have invaded, surely 6 9y old girls can't make that much noise?

Mouseface · 17/06/2011 18:18

Have your lights fallen off the ceiling yet? No?

They're far too quiet then! Grin

I remember DD having her first sleep over for her birthday, they were 9 I think.

Oh. My. Jeff.

NEVER again. EVER. It was hell on earth. There was 5 of them in total and they all fell out at 2am.

DD ended up in bed with me, DH had the sofa, one of her friends got the spare room and the other 3 stayed in DD's room. Bunk beds and the floor.

The next day was a little hard to get through that's for sure! Grin

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 18:46

Oh really?

Do you think I won't enjoy tomorrow night with four of them then?

No DH here, or spare room.

Just me, and four 9yr old girls.

We have two spare beds, but only one will fit in DD's room, and two couches in the lounge.

I'm broke too, I can't afford gin.
Is it true that you can get drunk on nail polish remover?
Is it wrong to wonder if I could give them all a lovely milkshake containing medised at 10pm?
Gaaaaaaaaahhhh.

OP posts:
Mouseface · 17/06/2011 19:30

You'd need 20mls for each of them Grin

I'm sure they'll be fine, really Netto, don't take my DD's disaster of a sleep over as the rule.

Nail varnish remover might burn a tad. Have you not got any cooking sherry in? Try that maybe? Grin

NettoSuperstar · 17/06/2011 19:46

I'll be off to the chemist tomorrow then.

Yes, cooking sherry, I do have some. I bought it to make a Nigella recipe that DD hated so have never made it again, but the almost full bottle is in the cupboard.
I think it will be gone after tomorrow night..........

I had a load of 9 year old girls round once for a Halloween party - DD's idea, I seem to recall - and I frightened the shit out of them with a little piece of theatre in the dark. All it involved was a torch, a couple of dolls, a dolls house and some peeled grapes and you can guess the rest.
