AIBU to consider this a national disgrace? I'm in an airport at the minute and they have just cheerily charged me nearly £9 for a pack of cancer sticks.
To add insult to injury, "there is a smoking area;" actually just a door leading outside. You have to pay £1 to open it.
That is taking the piss, isn't it?

"Actually they should just do this, lets face it it's a bad thing, worse than marijuana and alcohol, oh but wait they gain too many taxes.

I would love to see the faces of all those anti smoking lot when it all came crumbling down when smoking was no more. Lets face it, if everyone just spontaneously gave up, so many people would live longer, plus the tax take would plummet. Be smug wafters then you twats."

A more interesting variation would be to ban anti-smoking and anti-drugs fascists from enjoying or benefiting from any art or literature produced by people who smoked or took drugs.
That would leave them with little other than Cliff Richard.

I see lots of smokers sat in cafes and pubs spending half their time rolling the damn things, I think it looks rather sad tbh, also a bit like someones grandad.

well you have only seen those who are crap at rolling one then! its really easy and takes less than a minute and i dont see what is sad and grandad about it, my grandad used to smoke a pipe, infact most people in their thirties like myself who smoke, do use roll ups, for a while they became the 'trendy' thing to smoke, esp when at uni, but primarily i have always done so for cost and because i prefer them.

It was Belfast International. I've been there before but didn't notice the "smoking area."
