To be upset that I won't see the lunar eclipse tonight because of the pissing rainclouds?

I'm a bit of a geek. Love astronomy.

Will you have more in common than me with Professor Cox, by seeing the eclipse?

Will it brighten up???!! Will Brian Cox, me and the moon find lunar communion?

Yanbu.

It always seem to cloud over.

apparently it will be better in the north. I couldn't be any further south unless I popped over to the IOW

Pumpernickel10 · 15/06/2011 19:09

It's cloudy here but hopefully will clear so will pop out at 10 to see if we can see :)

Pumpernickel10 · 15/06/2011 19:10

Were in Devon so unsure of visibility

ineedabodytransplant · 15/06/2011 19:17

Not raining here now, just very cloudy so doubt I will get to see it.

Longest one in 11years as well.

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 15/06/2011 19:20

I wanted to see it also but it is very miserable and cloudy here (north west).

SpecialFriedRice · 15/06/2011 19:22

I'm still holding out hope that the clouds naff off before it gets dark! I've never seen a red moon.

Pumpernickel10 · 15/06/2011 19:25

Me neither friedrice DD is staying up til 10 to catch it too and she's excited

GingerWrath · 15/06/2011 19:26

What time? Although chances of seeing it up here in the north are slim due to torrential rain!

echt · 15/06/2011 19:28

Get up all you Melbourne MNers. The eclipse is just beginning and the sky is cloudless.

As it also bloody chilly, Uggs, fluffy socks and all warm bed gear are needed.:o

Pumpernickel10 · 15/06/2011 19:28

Says between 10 and 11

GingerWrath · 15/06/2011 19:32

Ooh, I see a break in the clouds! (heads off to find binos)

ajourneyofgiraffes · 15/06/2011 19:37

Watching it under clear African skies.

LineRunner · 15/06/2011 23:04

Didn't see it.

Sigh.
