Actually Rihanna is an Arabic name originally, I think it means sweet Basil. I was seriously considering a couple of weeks ago for my LO but unfortunately the association with the pop star put me off. It is a lovely name otherwise.

Good job I didn't have twins. I would have been tempted to call them Sid and Nancy. As long as they'd been a boy or a girl of course - I'm not that cruel!

I got pregnant in college, so I moved in with DP, dropped out (which I wish I'd never done) and he got a full time job. I was looking for a part-time job whilst I was at college though, I used to go out twice a week round all the shops to hand out CV's but I only ever had one interview!

Bullet, i only had 4 gcse's but got an HCA job at the first care home i walked into.
V hard work but flexible hours and I enjoyed it, did qualifications while i was there then got bursary for nurse training.
Or try a temp agency - my sister worked in banks, factories, shops and offices.
Just look very smart, friendly and nice.

I do get what you're saying - I just think the hyperbolic use of 'vomit' was a tad unnecessary, plus - you are just using thus thread as an excuse to take yet another pop at the middle class. Not that we can't take it, of course.

Has it ever occurred to some people that other people taking pops at the middle class aren't middle-class people denying their roots, but working or upper class people?
