To have spent my lunch hour (and - ahem - 'coffee breaks') compiling my TOP 40 Men List

MooMooFarm · 15/06/2011 14:36

Or just sad Grin. I'm quite proud that my libido is still lively enough to come up with 40 shaggable men Grin.

My friend on the opposite desk has done hers too. I'm hoping it will catch on Smile

who is in your top five?

MardyBra · 15/06/2011 14:37

Are you going to post them too?

MardyBra · 15/06/2011 14:37

and links of course (that'll take up a few more coffee breaks)

swanker · 15/06/2011 14:40

40? DOn't think I know 40 men...

MardyBra · 15/06/2011 14:41

Have you noticed that nobody is saying whether you are being unreasonable or not. We just want a list of hunky men to drool over.

MooMooFarm · 15/06/2011 14:42

Swanker it's not men I know! It's 'celebs' only Grin

BitOfFun · 15/06/2011 14:44

I nominate Jason Isaacs for #1

MardyBra · 15/06/2011 14:46

Can I have all of Take That as a fivesome as one choice (plus 39 others)

MooMooFarm · 15/06/2011 14:47

He He well my Top 10 was probably the hardest bit because they're all lucious - but my No.1 is definitely Gerard Butler (mmmmmmmm).

  1. George Clarke
  2. Gino De Campo
  3. Jame McAvoy
  4. Adam Garcia
OP posts:
MooMooFarm · 15/06/2011 14:48

Ooh can't believe I missed out Jason Isaacs! He's quite lovely too, in a beaten-up-face way. I am now starting on places 41 - 50 Grin

MooMooFarm · 15/06/2011 14:49

'lucious'? Blush. The overdose of Hunk is going to my head....

Marking place, watching with interest.

SecretSquirrel193 · 15/06/2011 15:12

What about a list of 10 (or more!) of characters in books you wish were human/real/that you'd do if you lived in that book or that book became a film..

or does that make me really weird for even suggesting it?!

PamBeesly · 15/06/2011 15:19

No to Gino MooMoo...the rest yes! I'd have Gael Garcia Bernal my number 1

FreudianSlipper · 15/06/2011 15:26

heathcliff would have been a fantastic fuck no doubt about it

no i shoudl be doing my uni work but this seems so much more interesting :o

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 15/06/2011 15:33

Nope.

I can't seem to go there. Sorry. Lack of imagination. Or, rather, I'd prefer to put my imagination to work regarding real-world slebs Grin

Punkatheart · 15/06/2011 15:39

I've met Jason Issacs. He is already madly in love - with himself!

How about dead ones?

Bazarov from Turgenev's Fathers and Sons.

(sound of yawning and clearing the room)

FreudianSlipper · 15/06/2011 15:43

what about actors in character. now when i saw michael c. hall interviewed i was not as charmed by him as when he is playing dexter morgan, the emotionally detached serial killer. gives him a bit of an edge :o

Just as well this is on the AIBU thread as you clearly ARE. You can have your 39 others but TT are mine. Actually, at a push you can have Mark Owen.

Punkatheart · 15/06/2011 16:12

I fell in love - madly - with Costner in Dances with Wolves. Loathe the actual man. Mel Gibson in Tim. Enough said.

TakeThat - I may have to take you aside and tell you that your lust may not be returned in some cases.

3boys5pets · 15/06/2011 16:45

Punk - ohhhhhhhhh it so would :-) At least it was in my dream on Monday night?

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 15/06/2011 18:47

Is everyone dying to list their 40 but being polite? Shall I crash in?
In no particular order then:

Benedict Cumberbatch
Paul Bettany
Michael Fassbender
Aidan Turner
Eddie Izzard
Adrien Brody
All of Mumford & Sons (counts as 4 to help me reach target)
Guy Garvey
Giles Coren
Viggo Mortensen
Alex James
Ben Miller
Adam from Adam and Joe
Benedict again
Puck from Glee
Kurt from Glee Blush
Alex James
Reece Shearsmith
Tom Hollander
Alexander Skaarsgaard
Philip Seymour Hoffman
Laurence Llewellyn Bowen Blush
Benedict again
Andy Murray Blush Blush
Peter Capaldi but only as Malcolm Tucker
Jude Law. Yes, I know.
Jake Gyllenhaal
Benedict again
Chris Packham since Really Wild Show days Blush
Ralph Fiennes
His less famous brother
Colin Farrell
Daniel Day-Lewis
Benedict four more times to make up the numbers.

Punkatheart · 15/06/2011 19:17

That's a very good list. Cumberpatch - I love his intelligence. David Boreanz would go on mine but to be honest 40 men would be tiring. Wink

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 15/06/2011 19:21

Punk, yeah, that's why he's on my list about 10 times; his intelligence Grin

No, it is very attractive isn't it, talent and cleverness and humour and poise and looking fucking hot nice in a suit and all.

Punkatheart · 15/06/2011 19:45

Double sigh.
