I have never seen a weather forecast on the EvilSquare during which I have been able to concentrate on the actual weather.

Are there special WeatherPerson clothes shops which thank feck are off-limits to normal people?

TBH, i only see BBC. The weather woman whose name is Carole (I think) seems only to have one dress.
It is black and white chevrons and quite attractive. The man, Peter Cockcroft is always smart casual.
I see BBC London though, perhaps they are more sophisticated than your lot?

The woman who does the weather on our regional news is always hugely overdressed, she looks like shes stopping off on her way to the BAFTAs some days.

We had a lift home from Wincey Willis (fucked if I spelt that right) once when I was a kid. She didn't seem that badly dressed from what I recall!

LOL. We always talk about this! Shefali Oza (Midlands Today). Her current favourite is a black dress I presume she bought in an Edwardian fancy dress shop. I'm amazed that nobody takes her aside for a quiet word.

Our regional weather presenters wear some really bizarre (but prob really expensive) stuff. (North West). Always entertaining!
I think it is a ruse so you a)don't realise how terrible the weather is going to be and b) you don't realise they can't string a sentence together - although to be fair to the others there is one in particular who this applies to.

Ours (Tyne Tees) has a penchant for polyester satin in orange or lime green. Grim.

I'm convinced that East Anglia's Breakfast TV lady on the Beeb shops at Per Una. Lots of colourful dresses and always a bright shrug over the top.

I've just seen a woman on a french channel doing the weather. I thought she was naked. She was wearing skin coloured leggings and a skin coloured top. quite extraordinary.

I feel bad about this because in real life she's lovely (and once went way beyond the call of duty for me!) but BBC South East weatherperson Kaddy Lee Preston's outfits regularly leave me and DP astonished. Where can you buy this terrible stuff? Why would you even stray into a shop that specialised in strange, turquoise T-shirts and weird magenta frocks? What possesses a person to top an already headache-inducing outfit off with a bright yellow belt? The picture, below shows a typical frock/vest/belt outfit. It is unusually discreet so far as colour is concerned.

i like carol's dresses and cardi combos. she was also wearing ever such a nice black frock and blue jacket yesterday. my particular fave is the black dress with bright flowers around the bottom.
