Its been a long day, opened a bottle of red, just to have a glass, watch some tv, and suddenly, the bottle is empty Shock

Me to & I have work tomorrow. Easily done when the day is stressfull & all I want is a little me time!

Northernlurker · 13/06/2011 23:13

Err sorry to be dull but that is quite a few units. Do you do that often?

juicyfruitqueen · 13/06/2011 23:13

I'm feeling a wee bit dodgey, worried that I'll be winey wiffy in the morning!

I have been in the wine bar this evening with colleagues.. Oh dearie me. But it was fun. Thankfully DP is sorting the children tomorrow. I just have to haul myself in for that very early meeting and look refreshed...

juicyfruitqueen · 13/06/2011 23:18

Way to many units, I agree northernlurker

I know its been done before, but is it the slippery slope ( i have a boring dh who certainly thinks so, and no friend about who would admit this type of behaviour!!!)

Easily done.... In fact if i wasnt pg i could quite possibly have done that too tonight

atswimtwolengths · 13/06/2011 23:24

How many units do you have in a week, OP? Be honest!

juicyfruitqueen · 13/06/2011 23:37

I have about a half bottle on a saturday night.

Occasionnally (about once a month) a bottle on a girly night out.

Got a present from a client of a bottle of wine today.

Half a bottle is what? About 4 or 5 units? The recommendation for women is 14 but you aren't supposed to drink them all at once or in groups bigger than about 3 at a time so tbh it does sound like you could be described as a binge drinker and that is potentially a risk to your health. Just keep an eye on that.

Snorbs · 14/06/2011 08:11

I wouldn't worry about it. I am, if anything, slightly over-sensitive about signs of excessive drinking but your drinking habits don't sound of concern to me. You'll just feel like crap this morning Grin

Ah FFS one bottle as a one off is fine. Don't worry OP you are allowed to live a little. Hope your head is ok today.
