I read the book that MIL bought for DP to give to FIL, being very careful not to crease the pages or open it past where the spine would show it had been read.

I have resolved not to buy the card for FIL as I have bought them already for my own dad, my stepdad and from DS to DP.

So no, YANBU, what he doesn't know won't hurt him! (and you've all week to get more for yourself him.)

Thank you sleepymare. Just think, if you hadn't eaten the fudge you wouldn't have posted and then I wouldn't have known it was Father's Day and my dad wouldn't have got a card. So really, it was a Good Thing that you ate the fudge!
