DH/DS/DD/DC
husband, son, daughter, child/children.

Technically "dear" or "darling" but that makes me do this sick face.

DS1 vs DS2 means 1st or second son. If someone write DS15 they probably mean DS who is 15 rather than their 15th son, but you might want to check.
