If it's any consolation I saw loads of people in Derby train station this afternoon looking muddy, cold , wet and miserable going home early from Download.

Hopefully you can afford to go next year and the weather will be better .

and to add insult to injury...her tickets were free!!! her hubby is in the biz and "a mate" got them the tickets. They live 30 mins away so have a nice place to sleep etc.

i have camped a few times...last time was 2004 when it was so bloody hot. we have stayed chez sister since...until now...bollocks.

Can't even remember what the year was when I went. 2003 I think. Iron Maiden headlined, and Metallica played a secret gig on the second stage on the Sunday afternoon. Was amazing.
