no I haven't read the thread

but it keeps getting bumped

and yes this is a thread about a thread

so take me on - but I'll wanr you I have had a shit-awful week and I am up for it you bunch of barstewards!

I am feeling a bit wary of someone who has had such a bad week.

But there's a forum here called Pedants' Corner where those who are riled can commiserate together. And those who don't like grammar/spelling threads can easily hide the whole lot.

So I share your view, but think YABU to post here.

One can't, unless someone is "patronaging". But that wouldn't happen here.

unfortunately not

a typed scream is not quite as useful as a real one - but due to swelling around my mouth I can only whimper (and whinge DP would add)
