My DH ships items direct from china, like cheap computers and stuff. They are such a bargain which is why they are popular. The listing clearly states that the item is coming from China and it is up the the buyer to know the laws in their country on customs charges and any charges incurred, the buyer are responsible for. This is only ever a few pounds but my DH is honest and doesn't hide this in the listing, it is as large as everything else and goes into detail about customs etc so people can be 100% sure before they bid.
In the last 48 hours 2 people have left negs saying there was a customs charge and then followed up with threats, calling him a dick head (ok people, step away that's my job) and that he is running a scam. He follows all ebay rules and the business laws. He has done nothing wrong. What do ebay say? Do one! He pays £140 ebay fees per month for this kind of service so in fact ebay can kiss my flaps too!
