Chavs taking over fashion

Now I love my clothes, used to like Burberry then the chavs decided to embrace it, same with Louis vuitton, now the bastards are wearing north face, isn't anything sacred?

What is the difference between being rich and obsessed with labels and poor and obsessed with labels - isn't it really the same thing?

In all fairness, despite this point being put across really badly I get the point

People used to take the piss out of me for wearing doc martins and vans when I was in school. Oh now they're in fashion though every tom dick and harry has them.

Chavs aren't a group of people. Hardly anyone would call themselves one (Katie Price being the only exception I know of). Therefore chavs don't really exist and it's a meaningless term.

A woman called me a chav once, it was her pathetic attempt at putting herself further up the social scale than me, she probably felt insecure or something. It didn't bother me at all, I found it quite amusing.

I always found it interesting how the mumsnet and general defintion of chav is different to how it's used in my area.
