..to be absurdly excited about the possibility of visiting these little darlings at the weekend - I do some volunteer work there....

If you don't like dogs, you won't like these:

stinkyfluffycat · 07/06/2011 15:44

Jealous!

Yekke · 07/06/2011 15:51

My favourite non-domestic animal! Oh my! Please come back and tell us all how they you got on and all the news.

Punkatheart · 07/06/2011 15:56

Wolf cubs would be lovely stinky but the resulting wolf would leave you with very little flat.

If I go, I will let you know. I am looking forward to being chewed.

Oh but they'd make such lovely guard dogs (guard wolves?). Just imagine the burglar's face..
Seriously though they are really beautiful. There are a couple of Huskies near me who look very wolf - like, and their owners must know me as the mad woman who crosses the road to ask to pat their dogs Blush

ForeverNamechanging · 07/06/2011 16:14

I live right near there but have never been.

So fluffy though

kampakat · 07/06/2011 16:25

My MIL lives just around the corner from them - it is an truly amazing sound when they start howling in the evening ... ooo and our springer spaniel was in one of their promotional videos Grin
We went on the "walk in the woods" with them a few years ago and I was the only person in the group too chicken to touch them - in my defence they were the adults not the puppies Blush

O.M.G. You lucky thing! Enjoy the visit :)

I went on Sunday. Pouring rain but the three cubs were warmly tucked up in the pole barn. For five weeks, they are certainly large. One tried to chew my wellingtons off and another was obsessed with sniffing my private parts! I really felt refreshed and moved by the experience. I am so proud that I work for the Trust. The volunteers are astonishing. One volunteer sleeps with them and feeds them through the night. Humbled.
