what you have to consider though is that fb have billions of users with billions of pages.

This isn't one site being reported - pages are reported to them all the time, and because of the sheer volume of traffic on fb it just isn't possible to deal with most requests asap.

Even on mn it takes hours to get offensive threads removed sometimes, now multiply that by 250 million or so hits and it's no wonder it takes days to deal with it.

as for whoever said they hope facebook gets shut down over this page, get real.

I started to watch the tv prog when it was shown, but was so sickened by the constant abuse, I just couldn't watch it. This sort of person should not get any publicity and be allowed to use social networking to serve their obscene desires, and the sooner the facebook page is permanently deleted the better. Angry

But facebook aren't the fastest or the most reliable of sites for dealing with issues like this and they don't seem to be able to deal with individuals and groups like this.

There is a recurring group that targets parents who have lost babies, they tell jokes about dead children or murdered children and even steal photo's of babies and photoshop them in offensive ways or put them in a group album and make offensive comments.

They are reported to facebook over and over but they disappear of their own accord for a few weeks and then pop back up again.

I've reported but facebook are generally unwilling to take down groups no matter how offensive they find them.
