To go weak at the knees every time David Essex speaks on Eastenders?!

Yes I know, the kids make me watch it! Anyway. David Essex has just rolled up, and although he's looking a bit aged, his voice is still gorgeous!
I know I'm sad, I'm only 36 and I watch EE, but I just can't help it! Confused

Sad really??
But he has a really sexy voice! Doesn't he??

Jesus, is he still kicking about? Shock

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 06/06/2011 23:54

I will say this in a very very very quiet voice. FGS don't tell my mother, I spent my youth slagging him off but, i'd not kick him out of bed for leaving crumbs.

Ooh David Essex, star of my teenage sexual fantasies... he's a bit creaky now though, isn't he?
I liked him in that naff 80s sitcom where he was a cheeky gypsy living on a houseboat Grin

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 07/06/2011 00:06

He's no Larry Lamb but he could go second Shock.

Putting the Wine down.....

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 07/06/2011 00:08

He is definitely creaky! Still not bad looking though!

My DBs look like the young David Essex BUT they talks broad Yorkshire!

fuckmepinkandcallmerosie · 07/06/2011 13:10

I quoted you on another thread. Well I hope I quoted you correctly I think I got it right.

(Sorry for hijack)

Ormirian · 07/06/2011 13:11

I think he looks better now. Less gypsy and more cultured. V nice. Weird that.

ElectricSoftParade · 07/06/2011 13:12

Saggy He is lovely and his voice is magic! While I admit to still finding him very attractive, my mind still wanders to his blue-eyed and dark curly locks glory days.

"Hold me close" Don't mind if I do Mr Essex!

fuckmepinkandcallmerosie · 07/06/2011 13:12

And yes his voice is sexy

ElectricSoftParade · 07/06/2011 13:13

I, as a young lass, thought all male Gypsies (real or pretendy) would look like David Essex. Sadly, I have learnt they do NOT.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 07/06/2011 13:14

My Mum was at school with him.

ElectricSoftParade · 07/06/2011 13:15

Oh I bet those eyes twinkled at your mum.

Hassled · 07/06/2011 13:16

David Essex is on EE? I might have to start watching. Has he said "Oh what a circus?" yet

Thingumy · 07/06/2011 13:19

Yabvu

Scholes34 · 07/06/2011 13:32

Still got my David Essex jigsaw with his twinkly blue eyes. He's older, I'm older. He still looks good, so I must look good too!

motherinferior · 07/06/2011 13:34

I went in a cab with him once. I was 30, I think (it was for work - he worked, rather hard, at celebby stuff for the charity where I was a press officer). He was quite swoonworthy, I must say.

motherinferior · 07/06/2011 13:34

Just him and me in the cab, I should add.

valiumredhead · 07/06/2011 13:38

I nearly fainted I swooned so much watching last night's episode!!!!!

Have seen him many times Blush

FlamingFannyDrawers · 07/06/2011 13:44

I watch Eastenders and was thinking 'David Bloody Essex isn't in Eastenders'. The penny has now dropped, I didn't recognise him. Hes grey and bald {shock}
