Was trying to get my buggsie and a basket of shopping through the ownservice till @ Morissons.

It was a tight squeeze, but I managed lol.

I was packing up my wears and singing Inci Winci Spider to my littley and she waswaving her bottle around and a wee bit pf the juice splashed this old dearies white jacket. OOooops.

I apologised a lot. and gave her a babbywipe to help clean it up, but she looked with discust at my lil girl.

She's only 2, dontcha think people shud be more tolerant?

Shud I of said something to her?

I'm right bothered by this 3 hours after the incident.

Sad

Really, is everyone missing the important part here....that the OP was singing itsy bitsy spider, not only is it really politically incorrect for spiders to be washed down drains (and possibly frighting the littley), it is a nursery rhyme that should be chanted rather than sang, probably this is why the old biddy was staring....Grin

cheztrixyreed1971 · 06/06/2011 17:20

And GetOff - I was supervisig her properly!!!! pmsl.

Oh please tell me you are a regular winding us up?

CotesduRhone · 06/06/2011 17:21

I am going to gloss over all the spelling/grammar issues, but OP, it does make your posts extremely hard to read. And there's no need to ** things. Wink

You are being unreasonable to expect her to be anything other than pissed off that she had her nice jacket ruined. You are probably covered in juice all the time, she probably thought those days were over. She was being very tolerant by not buying a carton of juice herself to tip over you and your child. Grin

Your child couldn't help it, but she shouldn't have to pretend to be happy about it

yousankmybattleship · 06/06/2011 17:21

I think the OP's two year old typed her post for her. It would certainly explain the use of English.

Do yourself and your DD a favour.

Get thee to an Adult Literacy course at your local college.

Otherwise, once she's past reception, her reading and spelling is going to be beyond you.

I am getting older so I must be approaching bidder-territory. I have to confess that if a small child accidentally spilt something on me I wouldn't complain but I might think 'arrggghhhhhh!' and my face might also express it. I like children and enjoy their company but I have less tolerance of the chaos they can create than once I did. (still slightly irritable about the damage inflicted on our home and garden by 2 out of control little ones at a BBQ last week).

Bucharest · 06/06/2011 17:25

That's highly defamatory to 2 yr olds though Sooty.

BitOfFun · 06/06/2011 17:25

Good point about the adult literacy course. There is no reason for anybody to be illiterate these days, and it would be very sad if you couldn't help your child through school.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 06/06/2011 17:26

Oh come on, 'tis obv a wind up.

AmazingBouncingFerret453628 · 06/06/2011 17:27

I always look on in awe at txtspeak.
It's actually really hard to type, It would take me twice as long to type a paragraph in txtspeak than it would for me to type normally.

Maybe they should start doing courses at universities?

TheFantasticFixit · 06/06/2011 17:28

Babbies

JanMorrow · 06/06/2011 17:29

ok, it's a wind up etc, arf arf etc etc, tell her off for the terrible use of the English language..

BUT it's not the LAW to use the frankly hideous "DD, DS, DC". thanX.

ilovesooty · 06/06/2011 17:30

Does anyone "lol" after getting themselves through a checkout with their shopping?

Hammy02 · 06/06/2011 17:31

It must be a wind up. Surely no-one old enough to have a child actually writes like that.

Rhinestone · 06/06/2011 17:35

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me this is a wind-up.

TheFantasticFixit · 06/06/2011 17:35

Annie - WTbeejeesus is ROTFLCOPTER?!

Jonnyfan · 06/06/2011 17:35

Strange the way the OP can get her apostrophes in the correct place ssometimes- when she forgets to do it wrongly.

On the other hand, if this is genuine then GO AWAY.
