just done a 10 hr shift and had a couple of drinks when i got home,
decided to cut DH hair o my god what a mess , hes going mad and i cant stop laughing , dont no what to do hes so mad, if it was me id divorce him . what do i do .? ps we are out on friday and he looks like a thug . o good god what a mess , best get another drink .x

haha get another drink, I cut ds hair the other week. I now know where the term basin cut comes from.

I was that busy trying to get his fringe straight, it just kept going shorter and shorter. I was quite horrified at the mess I made of it. Poor bloody sod, he had took great pride in trying to grow it. He looked like a mix of noel gallagher, paul weller and them square boxy cuts that the beatles used to have.

It was made worse, the next day. When I realised it was his school class pic as well. Y6 so last one at primary.

I have been cutting Dh's hair for forty years. I'm starting to get the hang of it.

My mother used to cut all our hairs - OMG, I used to end up in tears she did such a bad job. When I look back through my teenage photos I look just like a boy!

dh asks the dc to do it, or pays a barber

It's true though - apart from the bangs. I sort of feathered it at the front instead, somehow.

Last time I cut DS hair, last time he let me I did a marvellous job. I gave him a number 3. I was SOO proud of myself. Until... I removed the comb from the clippers, to trim an edge on the back if his neck... Noticed a stray long hair... And ran the naked clippers up the back of his head!! Poor DS, he had to have a number 1 all over to blend it in! He was so upset poor kid!
