Should (a) do it quietly (b) not start messing around with their very barky dog and (c) (and this is the most important point) not sit around in the garden until 4am shrieking, shouting and being v.noisy?!

Also, the woman with the worlds most annoying and loudest laugh was there - every time I managed to drop off to sleep I was woken by her 'janice from friends' style honking.

I am assuming that the people over the back from me who kept me awake last night are probably festering with rotton hangovers right now. Methinks the lawn mower might make an appearance, along with the hedgetrimmer this morning. And I'll laugh loudly and possibly maniacally whilst waking 'em up.

Do it! I would love you as my neighbour!

I can loan you a five-year-old DS as well, just for the added bonus of high pitched child noises!

YWBU to use the lawnmower & hedgetrimmer as kaid said, our neighbours do this pretty much every Sunday morning around 7-8am, pisses us off no end... and we certainly don't return from the pub at 1.30am / mess with our barky dog / sit in the garden shrieking until 4am. I hope you thought about your other poor neighbours & didn't!!

Had that with my old next door neighbour. I'm the sort of person if I'm woken up I can't go back to sleep. We had many arguments with them they just didn't give a fuck. So when they moved it was utter bliss and new neighbours are so quiet :)

I think that the other poor neighbours who were also disturbed last night would have come out and given me a round of applause, or a medal.

This chap only moved in a couple of months ago. We've had his dog in our garden, his dog in our house and this is about the third time we've been disturbed by night time drunken shenannigans.

Anyway, I didn't get the lawnmower out. I went to collect some day old chicks. And if he doesn't stop it I'll get a fecking huge cockerel too.
