To think if 'H' is taking the kids out all day to give me a break

he should be going to bed before 4am???

He said during the week he'd take them out Saturday to give me a break(nearly fainted)
Then says a friend of his is coming over.
Takes DC's to cinema at 10am home by 12.30
Friend arrives at 3pm - take oldest DC to pub with them at 4.30 home by 6.30
So I'm miffed I didn't get my day to myself.
Then 'H's friend says to H ,I'm taking my Dd to Southend Sirenia tomorrow if you wanna come.
Yes says H . then to me - I'll take them both off your hands for the day.

He's just crawled into bed
Not getting out now then? I ask
Hmmm it don't start til 2pm

Just because he was up late doesnt mean he still cant have them. You just get dressed and go out and tell him remember its your day.

I have looked after our daughter countless times and not got in til 3/4am the night before,and so has my husband. Couple of energy drinks, pint of water and a bit of food he will be fine.

From being on here for a few years now I've learnt that if you really want a day to yourself the best bet to to leave the house yourself

I used to go in a B&B now and again. Felt much better!

I would leave the house but he needs the bloOdy car
Was expecting a lazy day, not get up early and walk somewhere!!
Especially as I'm feeling wiped out

Well I don't believe it - they have gone already! Airshow is 2-5pm so a good 8 hours of peace ahead of me.

Erm I don't wish to worry you but Southend Airshow is not on today. It was on Sat and Sun this year. I am watching them dismantle it all right outside my window
