He will be 4 weeks old and is exclusively bf although.
Made appt at quiet time when he is usually midst of 2 hour snooze fest. I would be in for c45 mins so he should sleep through but if I left him with anyone it would be 1.5 hours...
I may be a selfish mare but I've short hair and it really needs cut.

YANBU - I don't see how you would be?

Your life needs to keep going too!

YANBU. My DC have always gone to the hairdresser with me from when they were very small until they were at nursery and I could go in peace.

I cant see any problem with it at all!

No problem at all. In fact seem to remember the other hairdressers almost willing DS to wake up so that they had an excuse for a cuddle. Completely reasonable in my book.

Personally I wouldn't because of all the hairsprays and tiny particles of cut hair flying around, but if you do..you'd probably be best to bring someone with you incase the baby wakes up.

Realistically you can't expect a hairdresser to cut your hair while you hold a crying baby, and there may not be a member of staff free to help.

Alternatively, you could get a mobile hairdresser to come to your house.

YANBU. It's a hairdressers, not a nuclear physics lab. Even if he wakes it will be ok and you'll manage. A hairdresser would have to be pretty snooty to think you were unreasonable in my opinion.

yanbu. If you give him a good feed before you go then he might not wake up anyway.

Thought I would get my chips well and truly pee'd on for this suggestion. I'll feed him into submission and put the raincover over the carseat.
Ta all!
