I dashed in there after school today with DD to get her some new school trousers. Picked 4 pairs in different sizes/lengths and went off to the changing rooms - to be told that only one person can go in a cubicle. I gave the attendant the
look and said that I need to see how they fit. He grudgingly let me stand in the corridor leading to the changing rooms.
When she'd finished, I asked why only one person was allowed per cubicle. The answer? Because of the size of the rooms. No kidding, this is a brand new Primark and the cubicles are HUGE. Four people could try on clothes in one cubicle with room to spare. I told him this and he shrugged. Then I asked at what age are parents still allowed to go in with their children - age 10, apparently. DD is 13.
FFS I am paying for DD's trousers, I want to know if they fit properly. If I go shopping with my mum, we always go in together so we can point out the wobbly bits do up awkward zips.
M&S give us the large changing room to share. Feckin' Primark.
