AIBU to think these people are heroes?

I know it's in the Daily Fail but this story makes me want to hug each and every volunteer: Skilled Veteran Corps

I know that Fukushima Dai-ichi is slipping from the public eye a little, but with confirmation of reactors 1, 2 and 3 having melted, what they're doing makes them heroes in my eyes. AIBU to consider them heroes?

I think it's brilliant - not only is is harnessing their skills and experience, it's protecting the gametes of younger workers and thus the health of future generations. Good on them!
