Did I fall asleep, miss Summer and wake up in the middle of Autumn? WTF is going on. Had to shut DC's bedroom windows at lunchtime cos it's blowing a gale and it has been for the past month (well at least it has in South West). Bloody weather forecaster said just now "may get windy" . Temperature hasn't been above 15 for about 4 weeks.

Shuffles off to get warm cardi and thick socks.

IKWYM though, earlier today I couldn't open my car door to get in it as it was so windy.

It sucks, but everytime I wander if its the end of the world I remember feeling the same on my birthday every other year or so in the past.... then on the alternate years, when its scorching and I have a BBQ and wear floaty dresses, and when people are saying its the end of the world because its so hot, I remind myself again that I live in the UK and the weather is crackers.

But yes, chilly isn't it? Bah. Hopefully we'll get a nice June, but not tooooo nice, I don't like it too hot either. Never happy me.

IKWYM Aldi we got married at the end of May two years ago and it was so bloody hot you could hardly breathe, same day last year, windy, cool and mizzle

Also I want to know why, if its going to rain at all in a day, it always rains at around 2.45-3.30pm ie. school run time

exactly my thoughts CroissanNeuf. To make matters worse I watched an episode of A place in the Sun home or Away at lunchtime and wanted to slap Jasmine Harman because I was so jealous of her job!

Is it wrong to put the heating on in June?

My heating is up full blast at the moment....it's bloody awful outside.

It's my fault everyone. We bought a tent last week and the moment it was delivered Summer turned to Autumn.

Yes it's K999's fault!

If you have your heating on K999 then I don't feel too bad about lighting the woodburner :) It was only 11 degrees when I went to get the dcs. Bloody weather.
