I don't understand why pre-schoolers need a salon haircut at all, but there you go.... my salon, well its a cheapy but a goody, they don't allow children in but have a 'kid's afternoon' once a week.

I love having my head washed in peace. YANBU.

If the salon owners didn't want the kids there they wouldn't have them, so whether you want them there or not doesn't matter. You're just another customer.
If you want to spend £50 to get away from children, I suggest the pub.

HugoFirst · 26/05/2011 13:55

no they dont. they bloody darent say no
so we get algernon and his twenty siblings taking over the whole gaff while the rest of us try to talk crap and read grazia in peace

Where are they meant to get their hair cut then? Mine would look dreadful if I had a go with the scissors.

fatlazymummy · 26/05/2011 17:10

You pay £50 for the haircut, not to get away from kids. It's up to the salon owner to decide what customers they have, and what is acceptable behaviour on their premises. If you don't like it then you should find another salon.

SydneyB · 26/05/2011 17:12

Its the salon's fault. Our local 'salon' won't take kids at the weekends, only on deserted week day afternoons which makes sense.

KurriKurri · 26/05/2011 17:16

YABU to spend £50 on a haircut - why don't you cut your own hair?

hanaka88 · 26/05/2011 17:36

I pay a fortune to get DS's hair cut at a salon purely because I know them, DS knows them and they are the only people who will risk cutting his hair.

He does scream as he is autistic.

But he needs his hair cut... So tough.
