potition help may be required are we being punished for having a disabled child?

hi all i posted on here on saturday regarding not getting help with childcare cost even though they class careas allowance as income and have dropped our tax credit.
is anyone else in this situation?
iv rang social services who passed me on to the county council who passed me on to welfar rights who said its a rare case and they have said to get in touch with my local mp whom is looking into the situaution for us.
we cannot be the only parents who has twins with onne thats disabled and has to put the other in childcare????

You might be better posting this on the Special Needs board as there will be lots of people with advice there :)

I wanted to send DS1 to nursery 2 days a week so that I could take DS2 to special needs playgroup (DS1 wasn't allowed to come too). I got carers allowance but no help with childcare costs. YANBU.
