Why in the name of all that is holy has entered my brain when I am trying to work late at night? (warning: it is truly, unbearably hideous)

YANBU! But your mind is...

:(

How do you cope with that?

ChaosTrulyReigns · 24/05/2011 00:59

But offers condolences to Speedy.

SpeedyGonzalez · 24/05/2011 01:00

I don't know! It's like my brain is in rebellion with everything that I know about culture and good taste!

Try this antidote:

piprabbit · 24/05/2011 01:15

Scream.
The hair.
The trousers.

I have been instantly returned to my 16yo hormonal self. Thanks. Must now try to rid myself of these images before they crop up in my dreams nightmares.

DontCallMePeanut · 24/05/2011 01:18

Bad Izzy! No LC at this time of night...

SpeedyGonzalez · 24/05/2011 01:29

What a beautiful song, izzy! Thanks for that - I've never really given Leonard Cohen much of my attention before. I also think you've cured my sick, sick mind of its malady! Grin

St Len of Cohen always hauls my sorry arse back to the straight & narrow after a filthfest - glad he helped you Speedy.

for Peanut.

QueenStromba · 24/05/2011 02:29

YABU because I clicked on the link while my DP is trying to sleep and you gave no warning that there would be sound.

SpeedyGonzalez · 24/05/2011 19:30

Oh dear, queen! Hope your dp got back to sleep and wasn't assailed by the horrific tones of THAT band!

Izzy, I spent a long time listening to other Cohen links on YouTube after that, and all I can say is "wow!" I can't believe I've waited this long (am approaching 40) to discover him. You have done a dang good thing!

So it makes me less pissed off with my mind - had I not been under auditory attack from The Band Who Shall Not Be Names I would never have started this thread and been introduced to the genius of Cohen.

This has made me smile. How lovely to discover Leonard Cohen for the first time. I have loved Lenny for more than 30 years, never tired of him.

Just the thing for a good old knees up. Grin

I never did dare to click that first thing though.
