to wish I could build my persona on MN

I always over-divulge and have to change my name frequently.
AIBU to wish I could reign it in well enough to build up ONE persona, where I wouldnt mind people knowing my actual name, and to be able to put pictures on my profile (yep, inspired by the "wanting to see people" thread )
The type of profile that is genuinely me, but that I wouldnt mind if my boss, DH or mum read it...

You don't need a persona, just be yourself.

I have photo's, have met loads of Mners, most know my real name from Facebook etc.

I have nothing to hide so don't mind being identifiable.

Just be you.
I have photos, and people know where I live.

Of course there's people irl who I'd rather didn't know as much about me as I post on here, but I take that chance, so I can say what I want, and get help/support on things I'd never ask about irl.

I namechange all the time, don't want anyone knowing who I am, I worry that people who build up 'personas' on here don't have a lot going on in their actual lives.

You need to MN more efficiently. I have a normal name and then namechange for things that are personal.

What turtles said. I post in this name assuming everyone I know and every one of my clients/potential clients are reading it all, therefore nothing juicy. I have photos and contact details on my profile. No point trying to hide who I am at all.

If I want to ask/divulge something I wouldn't want the whole world knowing I namechange. Simples.

I have met loads of mner's too, Mamaz0n being one of them (and I can confirm she is very very lovely). I don't mind anyone knowing who I am.

if I namechange for one post, I tend to forget, so I'm going to set up a whole account for "me" that I'll use day to day (on mat leave and on here A LOT at the mo ), then if I post on something possibly sensitive I can use this account without having to worry about namechanging :)

I am "myself" btw, I'd just rather people not always associate "me" with the group rape when I was younger (to give a recent example)
