Ds has been poorly and none of us had any sleep last night. I got him off about an hour ago and this stupid fuckwit pushed pizza leaflets through my door waking ds up because the dog started barking.

I fucking flew at him. The language was not pretty. He pretty much legged it up the road.

They still have to deliver a card so you know you have post. Obviously arranging to call at the sorting office and paying a fee is your choice. Unreasonable of you to tape up your letter box and expect the postman to knock the door imo.

It may backfire too. It may get to the point where they throw it on the mat instead and that would be fair enough.

It's very sad that you have had to tape your own letter box up Lady of the Manor, it's not right unsolicited junk mail has caused this inconvience to you. Its your home, why should this be fair?

I was about to say take away your letter box and buy one of those postboxes attached to the outside of your house.

Ilove, it is his option to knock. I don't ask him to and have told him several times just to take it to the sorting office. I don't get a card telling me there's post I just go to the sorting office on the days I haven't been in.

It doesn't bother him, so I don't quite see why you're all screeching like banshees about it.
