well if you believe nutty american self appointed preachers then yes (although he predicted it for 1994 too and as far as im aware that didn't happen )

He's predicting the beginning of the end tomorrow. True believers will get their rapture, but remaining sinners will continue to exist - though will die out by 21 October. That's a very long hang-over!
