To not want to root through my weeliebin now even though there is an alarm going off intermittenly inside a bin bag?

I have heard this fire alarm needing a battery change noise all day & thought nothing of it.

Yesterday, a new carbon monitor arrived & dh threw the old one into our kitchen bin (I know I know) & eventually the black bin bag went into the wheelie bin.

Our lovely neighbour has just knocked & said the alarm noise is coming from our bin & we all joked about wearing ear plugs as it's to dark & wet to do anything now but I have just been outside & from our neighbours side, nearer to our bins than where I sit it is really quite annoying.

The bag is at the bottom of the stinky weelie bin & it's dark.....

Drown it? Hmm

StealthPolarBear · 18/05/2011 22:18

hmm...difficult one
I'm with you though - I'd rather sleep through an alarm than go through a bin, adn I'd rather sleep through an alarm than think of my neighbours having to go through a bin! After all surely soon the batteries will go flat

Put rubber gloves on lass.

She'll be posting on here moaning about you if you don't get a move on.

jelliebelly · 18/05/2011 22:19

get dh to retrieve it...

I'd post about me para

AIBU to tell our wanky neighbour to sort her skanky wheelie bin out as the noise is stopping me enjoying the last in the series of Kerry K & I don't care if it's pissing down & pitch black Grin

sarah drowing it is an option I didn't think of!

Fingers crossed stealth I have kicked the bin & shaken the bag

Hide the bin at the bottom of the garden. Or take the bag for a little drive and tell it you will be back for it in the morning!

I could drag my weelie bin to the bottom of the garden but it's raining & will require moving cars and I can't be arsed don't know.

I can't hear it from my living room.
