to be angry on behalf of my neighbour

My neighbour ordered a chicken BBQ (chargrilled chicken, bbq sauce, bacon and onions) pizza from papa john's in Reigate (hope its ok to mention them if not my appology to MNHQ). They delivered cheese& onions with less than 10 chicken pieces and 3 (~4cm) bacon bits. She called them but they were unhelpfull. When she asked for the names they wouldn't say. We drove the pizza back (that's when we counted with the staff the bits in pizza). They offered the replacement, we said ok. As it was cooking, they called the manager who turned up to be what I call a racist &%&"%. My neighbour does have a a slight non english accent when she's angry but she's more calm than me! This Asian (Indian or other as we didn't ask him) racist asked her, "where do you come from originally" in that condescending tone. I know he was being racist because if he was there in person he wouldnt have asked her that. Really, how often does anyone get asked "where they originally come from" for returning a faulty product. If my friend had an Asian accent I would still be fuming because the %*&%%% on the phone was implying my British neighbour was somehow a second class shit from some cave somewhere. You know what I mean!!! Your humble opinions please.

Really? I think it's a long time since I read such a mish mash of borderline unhinged ranting.

faeriefruitcake · 18/05/2011 21:36

Hit em where is hurts and report them

troisgarcons · 18/05/2011 21:39

Did she get her pizza eventually? hey! this is important in the scheme of things

personally, CBA to get angry on behalf of someone else. My life is too short to take on the problems of other people.

PatriciaHolm · 18/05/2011 21:40

You drove the pizza back?!! How bored are you? Don't you know the Apprentice is on?!!

usualsuspect · 18/05/2011 21:42

MN is a bit barmy tonight

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 18/05/2011 21:45

Yeah but how many bits of onion were on it?

squeakytoy · 18/05/2011 21:46

Bizarre......

valiumlatte · 18/05/2011 21:46

Is it a full moon tonight? That would explain so much.........

Crevix · 18/05/2011 21:47

Portofino · 18/05/2011 21:49

eh? I am not sure what the problem was but, damn do I fancy pizza now...

iEmbarassedMyself · 18/05/2011 21:50

Next time order from domino's
hth

rey · 18/05/2011 21:50

you're a horrible lot tonight. OP report him. Then calm down it will do you no good at all and he is probably thinking nothing more of it. Report him.

GotArt · 18/05/2011 21:55

I see your point about why would it matter where your friend came from in order to make a complaint about a shite pizza. Report them to head office and don't order from them anymore. Simple.

ndume · 18/05/2011 22:24

Thank you for your humble responses!!! I had hoped for some positive and negative responses but I didn't anticipate such venom?

Like I said before and GotArt also pointed out, "why would it matter where the person came from in order to make a complaint about a faulty product or in this case shit pizza".
