At the weekend we were out shopping and my dd walked smack bang into a shop glass door. It was really hard to see that it was there and not open (it was a double door (-one door open the other, not) if you know what I mean and although there was a sticker it was really high up so no chance of a little 'un seeing it. She banged her face badly, really cried and now has a minor black eye due to the bump. I didn't say anything at the time but wonder whether I should go back and point it out...AIBU?

It wouldn't huirt to mention it and most probably could save someone else from a nasty bump! Smile

I sympathise - I once did the very same thing in a University Building and really gave myself a nasty knock. Also felt very silly but two really nice young lads asked if I was OK! Bless 'em!

I know you legally have to mark plain glass doors ... probs no rules on what height you need to mark them at ...and I guess if you dont have "littlies" you probs just comply without thought

I think the probs company's face is ...what height do you mark it at.. toddlere height, 1o year old height etc

so if you do mention it then be prepared for them to say they cant mark it for all ages

If a child could walk into a glass door, so conceivably could someone who has visual impairment.Or a wheelchair user could bump into it. Very dangerous.
Did this myself in a shoeshop in Glasgow- bl**ody hurt(sad)
Hope DD is okay.
