I liked them because they played attacking football. Its a tight fight at the bottom of the Prem

YABU. We'll be back.

Vallhala · 15/05/2011 18:38

Mention it??

I'm singing it, shreiking it, yelling it...

WEST HAM ARE RELEGATED! :o

Disclaimer: I'm a Chelsea fan and wanky ex-husband's a WHU fan.

WobblyWidgetOnTheScooper · 15/05/2011 18:39

I don't give a flying fuck about the premiership but DH was looking at the results on his phone and said "oh look, WH are relegated"

And for some reason our 3yo DD broke into maniacal laughter Confused

CurrySpice · 15/05/2011 18:39

Tense. Tense. Tense. I am a Wolves fan. And tense

I live in a big West Ham supoporting area and apparently they are too big to go down. It would seem not :o

I have smirked a lot and maybe been very annoying texted my condolances to my West Ham supprting friends :o

WobblyWidgetOnTheScooper · 15/05/2011 18:41

Valhalla (incidentally, I used to have a cuddly toy dog which I called Hal Valla...) - DH is also a Chelsea fan, and he's trained DD very well, so if she ever sees/scores a goal she shouts YAAAAAAY CHELSEEEEA!!!

Regardless of what team is actually playing :o

CurrySpice · 15/05/2011 18:43

I tuaght my two to boo and do a thummbs down when they heard the words "west brom" from before they could walk!! :o

Vallhala · 15/05/2011 18:45

Wobbly, I love your DH and DD. Now, if you can follow suit and yell YAAAAAAAY CHELSEEEEA as well, that would be even better. :o

ElleB1980 · 15/05/2011 18:52

YANBU. But I am a Sheffield United fan and haven't forgotten the Teves debacle.

And I know we've been relegated too but West Hamgoing has taken so e of the sting out of it.

CurrySpice · 15/05/2011 18:55

Oh blimey elle - has Sheffield Utd been relegated?! :( that's awful :(

ElleB1980 · 15/05/2011 19:31

Yep, gone down to Division 3. Or whatever they call it now. :(

As a Sunderland fan I know the pain of the the relegation battle very well. It's even worse these days because of the money involved.

flowery · 15/05/2011 19:42

Apparently Avram Grant was sacked within minutes of the final whistle. Ruthless.

AuntieMonica · 15/05/2011 19:42

YANBU but can you say it a little more quietly please as DS2 is trying his bestest to keep his chin up, but know he's gutted.

And he's taught DD 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' and she sounds really cute singing it [soft touch]

CurrySpice · 15/05/2011 19:43

Thanks for the three points yesterday kendoddsdadsdog :o

I'm sorry to hear that Elle :(

stranded I'm supporting Spurs next weekend Wink

webwiz · 15/05/2011 19:48

Wigan fans here!

robino · 15/05/2011 19:51

YABU, bad day in this house! Although it does mean that either DH or I can sit in the wrong end next season when they play Hull City and we can have yet more bickering about our teams Grin

Elle - I did a mat. cover in South Yorks last yr and couldn't believe the blades fans were still harping on about Tevez Wink

ElleB1980 · 15/05/2011 19:57

I'm holding out for Blackpool to stay up. Family connection (my uncle played for them the last time they were top flight) and I love their manager and team spirit.

I expect us Blades fans will be harping on about Tevez for some decades. I'm also still harping on about Seaman's super save in the cup semi and Boxing Day (although that will only mean something to Wednesday fans....and I wasn't even born!). Long memories in Sheffield. Although I live in Brum now and the Blue fans are even worse!

CurrySpice · 15/05/2011 19:58

Robino many many teams affected by west ham getting away with cheating the Tevez affair, still harp on about it ime

HRHShoesytwoesy · 15/05/2011 20:08

OMG you have ruined my life....
I won't be able to now ring my brother and have a chat with him as he will be in a foul mood, he is a life long hammers fan

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/05/2011 20:19

curry it sounds strange but everyone I spoke to after the game said they were not too bothered about losing as it helped Wolves. There is still great respect here for Mick McCarthy and everything he did for our club. Hope you stay up!
