OK I promise this is all true and not exaggerated.

I posted on a local meet up thread earlier today saying I was going to a big local shopping centre with DS (Metro Centre) tomorrow to buy one specific thing, and when we were done I wanted something fun to do with him there, asked for suggestions.

Later on today I noticed the Dolmio event sticky, on at that shopping centre, happening tomorrow only - perfect!

Then a bit earlier tonight I started a thread asking where I could get my Dad a spoof personalised photo card. I have looked in moonpig and funkypigeon and neither have quite what I want. 20 minutes later a "Hallmark: create your own personalised cards" flashed up in front of me. Perfect timing!
Unfortunately it's not a completely happy ending as I don't think they quite have what I want either. But still - bit of a coincidence, don't you think?

Advertising on forums is linked to keywords in posts. If everyone was posting about a similar thing, it is likely that an ad would appear.

I fully suspect cross-dressing ads to appear soon given the extraordinary amount of threads on the subject in the last couple of days! :)

Not pulling leg, honest - it happens all the time! Your keystrokes are logged with your IP address, and relevant adverts appear. It happens to me on another Forum.
