It was on the BBC TV (wednesday) It was unusual and we did not know what to make of it. (it was both amusing and touching)

RELATE is marriage guidance I gather. Talkshop for couples with problems

All the characters in the carttooon seem to have funny walks ;and some had odd hairstyles.

Anyone done RELATE for real? What did you make of the cartoon?

Yes, I saw it. I was a bit Hmm at first - would the use of cartoons somehow belittle the experiences of the people whose voices were used - but by the end, I had stopped focussing on the cartoons and was engaged with what the characters were saying. There's quite a good write-up by the film maker here, where he explains that he used cartoons to protect people's anonymity and promised to make them look physically different from their RL selves.

My only criticism would be that it made the process of counselling look like a very quick fix, especially in the case of the single man.

yes, I suppose, so Primrose.. We laughed and were moved by some parts. There were sad references on the credits.
